PUBG is receiving the new 5.3 update on the test server for PC users. The new update brings quality of life improvements to the game, more realistic blood effects and adds changes to Weapon Mastery along with new skins.
The new update improves the blood splatter effect after shooting an enemy. Headshots and shots around the neck area will now produce a more realistic and bloody visual effect. If a player gets shot near a wall, blood splatter can be seen on the wall as well as the floor. Blood marks on characters will offer a precise visual representation of which body parts have been hit.
Players can now choose their favorite weapon in the Weapon Mastery tab. The favorite weapon will always show up at the top of a players’ list, regardless of the sorting feature or the weapon level.
New skins will be added to the store after 5.3 update rolls out on live servers:
