29 May, 2019
MSI launched a new family of AM4 motherboards with the X570 chipset, supporting the latest Ryzen 3 series of processors from AMD. These motherboards are not only designed with gamers in mind, but also those who need to be productive using AMD's hot new processors. The new chipset comes rocking support for PCIe 4.0 for up to 64 GB/s bandwidth and faster transfer speeds.
The new motherboard collection includes the MEG X570 GODLIKE, MSI's flagship X570 motherboard. This beast is designed for serious gamers, system builders, and overclocks with status OLED display, Killer networking, Xtreme Audio DAC, efficient cooling design, and other handy features like a double side shield for M.2 storage.
The MEG X570 ACE is fairly similar to the MEG X570 GODLIKE, but without all the advanced cooling for stable serious overclocking, though you'll still be able to push this motherboard and connected components far beyond their factory-set limits. The PRESTIGE X570 CREATION is designed for content creators with dual 10G LAN, Wi-Fi 6 and neat cooling enhancements to keep the system running well under heavy loads.
Next up is the MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI, which comes rocking RGB LEDs, the same heatsink design but with less aggressive and flamboyant styling. Wi-Fi 6 and other latest tech are present, making this more affordable board still worth considering. The MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI is another step-down, removing Wi-Fi 6, but keeping many of the more important elements.
Lastly, we have the MPG X570 GAMING PLUS, which removes all the fancy lighting effects and other parts that do not directly impact performance and leaves one with a gaming board ready to match up the Ryzen 3 with a capable GPU.
